What is StampitApp?
StampitApp is a non-instant messaging platform for sending personal and private Video messages on Paper using the QR code technology in a dynamic and interactive way.
What is a Video Stamp?
A Video stamp is an interactive QR code label that can carry a personal video message recorded by you on-the-spot, from anywhere, at anytime. Video Stamps are unique and personal, they add privacy to protect your messages by using a personal secret-key and they provide travel distance mapping that will let the recipient know the total distance the message has traveled.
Is StampitApp FREE?
StampitApp is a LOGIN FREE service platform, which means, you can send and play video messages without the need of being Registered or Logged in.
Why should I Login and register?
Login and registration is FREE. It is fast, easy and secure. Logged in users will have a better experience using StampitApp and they will have access to add-on features like managing and mapping your Video Stamps.
For registration we use private authentication methods using your preferable social media networks, which means all your credentials are kept private because it is your social network who handles and manages the registration process. We only use your contact details like name and email to provide a better user experience while using the platform.
Are the messages posted on a Video stamp private?
Video messages sent on a paper Video stamp are intended to be seen only by the recipient and if sent with no privacy it could be seen by anyone who has access to the Video Stamp and who scans the code.
If you are concern about privacy, we offer privacy as an optional add-on feature. Privacy will allow you to lock your message with a combination of a secret key question and a secret key answer that only you and your recipient will know. It is up to you to identify what question will be the best to allow the recipient to guess what the answer was.
Will my Video message expire?
Video messages sent on a Video Stamp are designed to expire 90 days after Post. However, when it is received, the intended recipient will have the option to extend the life-time of the Video Stamp for up to 1 year for FREE, and we are currently working on other functionalities that will allow you to extend the life-time of any Video Stamp received for longer periods.
What kind of video message can I add to my Video Stamp?
You can add any personal Video message recorded by you on the spot using your mobile phone or tablet. It must be compliant with Quicktime mov or mp4 media files and it cannot be longer than 30 seconds in duration.
About Size and Duration: remember that the longer your video message is or the higher the quality of the video is the bigger the size, and it may affect the upload process. We recommend you send shorter video messages with a low-medium quality for a better experience while uploading and downloading.
Where can I obtain or buy Video Stamps?
Video Stamps or paper Video Products can be created online for FREE, they can be ordered online as PREMIUM editions or you can buy them on selected retail stores world-wide.

What Application do I need to scan a Video Stamp?
To attach a Video message to your Video Stamp you need a Video Stamp scanner and you are invited to use StampitApp, our in-house App to Scan your personal Video Stamps. Available for Apple and Android devices.
To Play a Video message the recipient can use StampitApp Video Stamp scanner, a QR code reader or you can play it on any desktop PC or Smart-TV.
Can I use any smartphone available on the market?

How do I Add a Video message to my Video Stamp?
SCAN a Video Stamp and follow the online instructions displayed in your Web-browser. You can add any video message file recorded by you with your smartphone and you can set your personal details, privacy and geolocation.
How does Privacy work?
Privacy is provided by a combination of a secret-Key passcode and a secret-Key help text. A secret-Key is a unique word, passcode, defined by you at the time you are about to post/upload your Video message. It must be a passcode that is simple and easily known by the recipient, otherwise they wont be able to Play and watch your Video message. We recommend you set a secret-Key Question text to help the beneficiary to guess what the secret-Key is.
Example: I am sending a Video message to my mother and I am sending a secret-Key passcode with the name of her granddaughter which is Carlota
. The secret-Key question could be something as simple as What is the name of you granddaughter?
How does Geolocation work?
Geolocation is an optional feature available for all video tag-stamps and we encourage that you use it. If you dont use Geolocation, your message will be posted with a NULL geoposition and the recipient will not have the routing and map-path feature available.
If you accept it, a map with your latitude and longitude coordinates will be displayed and the location coordinates will be used to map your message allowing the recipient to know the distance the message has ravelled to arrive to its destiny and a map will display the full path.
What happens when I upload my message?
After uploading your message and if it has been attached to your Video Stamp successfully, you will be redirected to a confirmation page and you will have the option to test, play and review the message.
Can I change the Video message after Post?
Only within the first 6 hours after uploaded but you must be a Logged in user. The option to change/modify/delete is available from My List menu section and you can only change it once.
Can I download the Video message?
Yes, of course, it is Yours!
If you are the intended recipient you can download the video and keep it forever by sending it to your personal email address.
Can I send a video message to someone I dont know?
You should always send messages to people you know. If you decide to send messages to unknown people be aware of any legal implications it may have about the content you are distributing and to whom you are sending it to.
Should I play a message If I dont trust the person who is sending it or if I am not the intended recipient?
In order to use StampitApp product and service platform you should have
• A Smartphone or Tablet with internet connection (3G or WIFI).
• A QR code reader Application.
• A video stamp to read.
• A video message to send.
• Someone to send it to!
The Smartphone or Tablet
StampitApp has been successfully tested on different Smartphones and Tablets available on the market and it should work on any mobile device that has internet and web-browsing capabilities. Moreover, make sure your smartphone has a camcorder to record video messages on mp4 or quicktime mov file format.
We recommend you use StampitApp with a model device that also allows high-speed connections over Internet because uploading and playing video messages will require more bandwidth than just sending text or images.
